My abstract glass art & watercolors
Welcome to my website. Here you will find images of my Glass art and recently made gouaches on paper.
Where I used to work with the technique of glued glass (glas-appliqué) I use since 2004 Glass fusing to make my glass sculptures. You find many of these fused glass sculptures on the website.
I have recently started making series of abstract gouaches on paper. Painting is my daily and regular practice. In the area of modern art I work on the abstract side. For ten years 'lyrical abstraction' was a good expression for my way of painting. After 2007 my art becomes more expressive and 'basic'. The lyrical notion disappears more and more. I increasingly enjoy using strong colours, painted with a rough brush.
